How You Can Help

The holiday season is upon us, and how better to celebrate than giving to those in need?  We have 14 adorable dogs looking for new homes, but we realize adoption isn't an option for everyone.  But you can still help, and make a big difference in their lives.

It's getting colder outside and we have several kennels without warm beds.  The kennel floors are cold and a new bed would give the dogs a warm, comfortable place to spend the nights dreaming of their forever homes.  Some of our dogs already have beds, but there isn't enough for everyone.  Please help us provide beds for each of them by donating a bed in your name, or as a gift for a friend or family member.  Simply click on the link below and select our shelter from the list.

If a full donation is a little out of your budget, you can still help us reach our goal by chipping in toward the cost of a bed.  You can donate by clicking here.  It's something that the dogs will appreciate every day.

Little Dogs -- Big Love

It's said that big things come in small packages, and that's definitely true when it comes to dogs!

We have a special promotion this month featuring some very special, very teeny pups.  Come meet them every Saturday in October from 11 am to 3 pm at the CWAC facility (40 N. 800 W., Salt Lake City) and fall in love with your new best friend. 

All new adoptees with go home with a special welcome home package to help ease the transition into their new family life.

Congratulations Canella!

Canella was with us yesterday at the Hogle Zoo adoption event and was snatched up within an hour!  She was our first CWAC pup to be adopted yesterday; Rocky followed soon after.  Canella's new family was very excited to find her and she's now sleeping comfortably in their son's bunk beds.  Congratulations, Canella!  We'll miss seeing your beautiful face, but are so happy for you and your new people!

Meet Your Best Friend at the Zoo

Utah's Hogle Zoo will be hosting the Pedigree Meet Your Best Friend at the Zoo animal adoption event from 9 am to 5 pm Saturday, October 1st, and Canines With A Cause will be there!

 

Cats and Dogs from local adoption agencies will be at the zoo in the American Express Event Pavilion, waiting to meet their new families.   

 

The American Express Event Pavilion is located just east of the main Zoo entrance, and is separate from the zoo.  Admission to the adoption event is free, Zoo admission is not included.  Outside animals are not allowed inside the adoption area.  Non-service animals are not allowed inside the zoo.
